WandaVision Review So Far And Theories

I don’t think it needs to be said but obviously this show has great acting, plot, special effects etc. which is to be expected for anything in the MCU. Now that that is out of the way I can get into the deeper stuff. This show, so far, is strange, weird, and definitely unique and honestly I have no idea yet if I actually like it or not. But I know for a definite fact that I am all in! I need to know what’s going on! Obviously I went in knowing things were going to be confusing from the trailers but I didn’t really “know know”, you know? So, now I have a new show to wait for every week!

Since I’m a huge nerd as you might have guessed I have already come up with some theories that I just want to put out there. I going to start this by saying yes I’m a huge MCU fan and I know I can easily look up info on specifics to confirm stuff but I don’t want to spoil things for my self.

First thing that is obvious is that nothings real but my 2 theories on that is that it’s either in Wanda’s head or Vision’s. But because Vision was just a little dead last time we saw him I’m more inclined to say Wanda’s but if it is Vision’s I’m guessing it’s something like Altered Carbon(another show I love) where a copy of his mind was stored somewhere before the unfortunate Thanos incident.

Second thing is S.W.O.R.D. is a thing. Now this is where my knowledge is lacking because I haven’t read the comics but I don’t want to look it up to confirm things right now. What I do know from the internet and a book I have is that S.W.O.R.D. is a thing. I know that it’s connected to S.H.I.E.L.D. but I don’t know if it’s better or worse then S.H.I.E.L.D. that I will leave up to the show to tell me. But I do have two theories about S.W.O.R.D.. One is that they’re the good guys and are trying to wake Wanda up from some crazy coma some yet unknown bad guy put her in for some nefarious reason or they are said bad guy and someone yet unknown is trying to save her from S.W.O.R.D..

And so the only way to find out is to keep watching while I also wait for any more easter eggs or connections to the rest of the MCU. Specifically any mentions of Stark because I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed my Tony fix and I will never admit to my self that he is truly gone. But anyways back on topic I will definitely keep watching!

Bridgerton Review

Unless it’s fantasy or has sword fighting of some kind I don’t normal watch period dramas. They usually have to have some dark or actiony for me to want to watch them so I wasn’t really planning on watching Bridgerton when it first came out but then my sister had the family watch it together. And my first thought about it was that it was great! It was so much fun to watch and I can’t wait for the next season.

I think what made this show great was its unpredictable predictability. By that I mean you could easily guess where it was going but you were always wondering what will happen between point A and point B. This made the show an easy and enjoyable watch with only a minor bit of stress. And as every ad is saying right now that’s a good thing in these stressful times. But seriously sometimes you want a show that has you on the edge of your seat every time other times you want a semi-peaceful show that you can just simply watch knowing that things are going to turn out okay with your favorite character somehow. So I definitely recommend people watch this show.

I only had 2 things I had a problem with in this show. The first and biggest is the costumes. I’m not saying the costumes are bad, they are beautiful, I just personally don’t like that time era of dresses because they always look like nightgowns to me and it always messes with my head by making me think they’re walking around in public in the their pjs. The second problem I had was that they very very very subtly gave a reason in the show to why the cast could be so racially diverse in this time period. I had a problem with this because I preferred it much more when there was no reason in the show for the casting, I enjoyed the fact that the cast was diverse for no reason and I felt that making a canon reason in the show just made it less cool. So, really the only problems I had with the show was because my own personal preferences. All in all I give this show an 8.5 out of 10!

Wonder Women 1984 Review

I’m going to start this off by saying that I’m more of a Marvel fan then DC so I’m a little biased about my superhero movie. But even still I enjoy having more superhero movies to watch so I try to keep an open mind. All in all I thought Wonder Women 1984 was an adequate movie I guess. I wasn’t a huge fan of it which I was expecting because I wasn’t really a fan of the first one or of Wonder Women the character as a whole.

Besides for that I thought it was relatively average for a superhero movie, there were just too many things that were a problem for it to be a great movie. First the main villains’ “power” and his thought process to get to his goal was boring and stupid to me. Sure his power was… well powerful it was just plain boring and I feel like the way he went about making himself powerful was a little lacking in forethought and a plan. He was just to rushed for anything to work out. And then the way he was beaten was very anti-climatic, confusing, and definitely didn’t take human nature into account(which is also one of my biggest problems in the first movie). Like did Max renouncing his wish negate all others, because if it didn’t there is no way in hell that everyone in whole world who saw his broadcast would renounce their wish. But even that pales to what I believe was the biggest problem of the movie which can be wrapped up by talking about bringing back Chris Pines’ character which was useless. It was useless because with the fact that this movie takes place in the past of the DCU you know everything has to be wrapped up and that some how these characters have to disappear some way or another or it wouldn’t make sense why they’re not in the “newer” movies. It also doesn’t make sense to me that such a huge event would happen in the “past” and they, more specifically Batman wouldn’t have known about Diana through those events happening. So all of these problems I have with the movie would lead me to say it’s a 5.5 out of 10. All in all, completely average.

LootCrate #1!

Being the huge nerd I am I have always wanted to get a LootCrate or any of the other loot box brands but the one reason I wanted to get was the same reason I was skeptical to get one. And that is the fact that because I’m a nerd I get a lot of nerd merch and thus I was always afraid that if get a loot box it’s just going to be a bunch of stuff I already have. But my fears were put to rest when my friend go a 3 month subscription for me for my birthday and Christmas. So now it’s show-n-tell time!

Now time for the scary part lets see whats in this box!

So the first thing I noticed was that everything is green themed, whether that was a coincidence or on purpose I don’t know. If it is on purpose I hope the next one is red themed so I can get something Iron Man themed! Anyways I was happy with this haul because I didn’t have any of these, and I even learned about a new Marvel character I didn’t know about. All in all I can’t wait for my next box!
