Disney Dreamlight Valley Review

I am by no means close to finishing the main storyline but I’ve been enjoying it so much I wanted to do a review. Firstly, for those who don’t know I would describe Dreamlight Valley as Animal Crossing but with Disney characters. And as a huge fan of Animal Crossing, I hate to admit it but I think I like Dreamlight better. It basically has everything AC has but makes it easier. The fact that clothes and furniture don’t take up any space in either your backpack or storage is the fucking best thing ever! I never have to worry about decorations getting in the way of holding important things. I am also obsessed with the fact that you don’t have to have an item in your backpack to craft or cook with it. As long as it is in a storage chest you can use it! Another thing I really appreciated was the actual storyline and quests, it gives me purpose instead of just having me wander around aimlessly. I hate to say it but putting all of those details together and adding the ability to just hang out with Wall-E(and eventually Simba hopefully) makes it better than Animal Crossing in my book. It’s just a fun easy game with a clear goal.

Now, the only complaint I have so far might be because I’m playing it on my Switch/my Internet. But sometimes it lags/freezes so I end up hitting a button too many times and exit out of something by accident. Oh, and I almost forgot, why do so many food combos make crackers!!!! I think I’m doing a clever combination but nope crackers. Always crackers. But besides that I would give this game a 9 out of 10 and I can’t wait to see what else happens.
