Nerd Thoughts

I wanted to share this dilemma I’m having right now in hopes that I’m not the only one. As a die-hard Percy Jackson fan I feel really bad about this but I haven’t actually watched the trailer yet for the new series. So basically, I haven’t watched it yet because I wanted to be surprised, but then the logical part of my brain is like “You’ve already read the books a million times dumbass how can you be surprised?”. That is where my predicament lies.

I did realize recently that I could use the excuse that I want to be surprised about how things look, but that’s really just an excuse. And then I remind myself again that I already know what happens, and I watched the teaser, so it still won’t be surprising. It’s just a vicious cycle of should I or shouldn’t I.

Well, that’s really it, I just wanted to share these thoughts to see if anyone has the same stupid thoughts as I do.
