Nerd Thoughts

I may have finished the series but I still have so many thoughts so I thought I might as well write a list of them. Warning some may or may not be controversial depending on your opinions. Also if you haven’t read the whole series do not read.

• Getting this one out of the way, I still don’t like Nesta. I don’t hate her, but I do not want any more significant chunks of POV from her. The occasional chapter is fine but that’s it.
• Tamlin does not need a redemption arc. My opinion is that not every jerk character needs to be redeemed. I think it’s fun to have that one character who whenever they show up every other character is like “Oh this jerk’s here!”. Also, I think he’s already “redeemed” himself enough that we don’t want him dead, which I think is fine. Not every character needs a happy ending.
• On the Elain side of things. And anyone who thinks she’s not going to eventually be with Lucien is setting themselves up for disappointment. Now I’m not saying there’s not a tiny chance she will deny the bond but I am assuming she will eventually accept it because then I won’t be disappointed when it does happen. Also, people who think Elain and Azriel will be together are extremely delulu. Sure, I definitely like that Az’s crush on Elain is helping him move on from Mor but you’re crazy if you think anything else is going to come from that.
• I want another mini book like ACOFAS but with the Inner circle just going about their daily lives. I love me some slice-of-life.
• I neeeeeed the next book to go back to Feyre and Rhys’ POV so that all those naysayers who hate the fact that Feyre got pregnant can be shown that just because they’re now parents doesn’t mean they can’t be badasses who save the world. I might not be a huge fan of the pregnancy trope but I’m perfectly fine with it if the characters choose to have a kid and it’s the perfect time for them to take a break and chill(it’s completely different if it’s unexpected or it’s like the evil lady disguises herself as the MMC’s lover and they have sex and then she gets pregnant but the MMC is a good guy so he won’t abandon his child). They both deserve some time to chill and have a family, then they can go back to putting their lives on the line.
• Oh if Rhys and Feyre aren’t King and Queen by the end of the series I’m going to be a bit sad. Not hugely sad just a little bit.
