Nerd Thoughts

With me just finishing my latest reread and with them finally releasing some photos for the movie I just wanted to share some thoughts I have for the movie. Warning there will probably be spoilers for those who haven’t read the book beware.

Questions: First I just want to put down some questions I have(some of which are kind of stupid because I could just look it up but I don’t want to).

• Did they film at the actual Wimbledon stadium? Or the real places in DC, like Dulles International Airport?
  • As someone who lives an hour away from DC I always get excited when something is set in DC because then I can feel superior for some reason when I either recognize the places or know that it was filmed somewhere else i.e. almost every show or movie that shows the Metro(the Metro does not look like New Yorks subway fyi)
    • sadly I won’t get that last bit since they never use the Metro(oh well)
• How are they going to do/show the emails and text?
  • since the emails are extremely important in this book I’m really curious if they will have them narrating them somehow
• Is it R rated for the sexual material or the abundance of curse words?
  • I am just suuuuuuuper curious about how explicit it will be

Excitement: While I’m excited for the entire thing these 2 scenes are what I’m most excited for.

1. The Turkey Scene!!!!! This scene will be hilarious and I just can’t wait.
2. I feel bad for being excited to see this scene but, everything after the emails are leaked
   • I’ve bawled every time I’ve read the book so far at this scene so I am eagerly awaiting the snot fest that will happen actually seeing it.
     • Because who doesn’t love a good cry at a romance movie?!

I just looooove this book and I can’t wait to watch the movie!!!!!
