Nerd Thoughts

I am loving this series so much! This newest book, in particular, is the icing on the cake. Nothing’s better than when a book gives you everything you want. That’s not to say it’s predictable, but rather, it feels like it’s reading my mind. While there were surprises throughout, eventually, I was happy with all the outcomes. And after reading a book that left me wanting, this felt even better.

There’s so much I adore about this book/series, but my favorite part would be how it’s not a straightforward werewolf book. Just the description of Ruin alone is super unique. Plus, it has that feel of a werewolf book that I love without being the same story over and over again(which I still love, but sometimes I want some variety). Getting second place for my favorite part would, of course, go to Merrick and Kat’s relationship. It felt so real and natural, no fated love or magicalness, just two people in love making it work.

So, I am giving this book an 8 out of 10, and I hope this isn’t the last one.
