Wheel of Time Show Review(so far)

This is one of those shows that, for some unknown reason, I didn’t watch while it came out and then obsessively caught up when I finally started it. And man, am I loving it. The thing that really cemented my love of this show is the aesthetic, you know the costumes and settings. I’m a feral goblin for the outfits in medieval fantasy, so whenever I find a good show that satisfies that desire, I get really attached. Besides that, I love how unique each character is. I get the whole spectrum of characters to enjoy.

I only have two minor complaints. The first isn’t a big deal to me, but some of the CGI leaves something to be desired. It’s not bad by any means, but sometimes it definitely looks a little too fake. But like I said I can get over that really easily. The other complaint I have is that the villains are waaaaay underestimating the power of friendship. Clearly, this isn’t a “real” complaint, but I laugh every time the bad guys are so certain that friends are going to turn against each other. Now, I haven’t read the books, so I don’t know what will happen, but I will be devastated if the power of friendship fails.

All of this makes me want to give the show an 8 out of 10.
