Since I went to Disneyland/California Adventure for the first time I wanted to share a few thoughts on the rides we went on and whether or not I thought the wait times were worth it.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
We rope-dropped this ride, so the wait was like 30 minutes max, and it was so worth it. The ride itself was insane! I knew there was going to be a drop, but I did not expect that many drops, plus I was not expecting to float in my seat! I would definitely wait in an hour-plus line for this ride.
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure
This was the next ride we did(after some breakfast), so the wait was just over 30 minutes. We thought it was going to be a 4-D ride that would make us nauseous so we were really surprised that it was more of a game. We had so much fun on this ride! I would 100% wait in however long a line for this ride.
Radiator Springs Racers
I feel bad saying this because so many people seem to like it, but we had like an hour-and-a-half wait, and the ride was not worth it for that wait. I think I would only go on it again if the wait was 50 minutes or less.
Pixar Pal-A-Round – Swinging
Oh my gosh, we did the swinging carts and that was crazy! This was definitely one of those rides that the wait was worth it, but I would only do it again if I went with someone who hadn’t done it before. Those swinging carts made me so nauseous but I absolutely think everyone should try it once just to say they’ve done it.
Jungle Cruise
We had like an hour wait for this one, and some people might think I’m crazy for saying this, but I think it’s worth it for that wait. Now, if it was a 90-minute wait maybe not, but any less than that yes. It’s a Disney classic, so I feel like it deserves a bit of respect that way.
Indiana Jones Adventure
This wait was around 90 minutes and it was totally worth that wait. It was wild, and since I was on the edge I kept feeling like my leg was going to fly out of the car, which made it even wilder!
Haunted Mansion
This one was of course our longest wait, probably around 2 hours I can’t quite remember, but sadly it was not worth it. That’s mostly because they completely changed the ride to make it Nightmare Before Christmas theme and I was really excited for the real Haunted Mansion. This was going to be my first true time riding it where I’d be able to remember it but I didn’t get to experience the real ride. So sadly that was disappointing.
Whelp those were all the rides we did this time around.
