It’s always tough reviewing a movie adaptation of a book you’ve read because chances are it will either be horrible or amazing. But luckily for this one, it was a great adaptation! I loved everything included in this movie. The best parts must be the casting which was pure perfection, and the beautiful sets.
With all of that being said, I did have two concerns, but not like real concerns more like if everything was perfect and I could have everything no matter how impractical it was. The first concern was that it felt rushed. I know they did what they did to fit it all into one movie, and it worked out great I might add, I just wished they took a little bit more time. I definitely think that would have helped establish the romance more by showing more days passed than they showed us. My other concern is actually more of a wish/idea, I wish they had some type of narration or something to show what was going on in Snow’s head. It would have been even better if we got to know what he was thinking, like in the book. Now, these ideas/concerns are just little details I personally would have liked but they are definitely not needed. So, all together I would give this movie a 9 out of 10.
