Nerd Thoughts

I watched this a little bit ago on Amazon(obviously) and I finally wanted to get around to reviewing it. It feels weird saying this since it’s an Amazon Original, but it feels like a semi-high-quality B flick. It was an interesting premise, but really, the only truly good part was the powers and how the eyes changed. I thought having different types of eyes for each power was really cool, but sadly that didn’t help out too much in the grand scheme of things.

My big issue was that none of the emotions affected me. I have no idea why but I didn’t feel anything while watching it. Everything felt dulled whether or not that has to do with the acting, script, or something else I don’t know. The best way I can describe it is that I was watching what was happening through a window instead of living it and feeling like I was a part of the movie. On another note there also seemed like a bunch of plot holes or unanswered questions. So it not only left me feel nothing it also left me confused. And because of all of that, I would have to give this movie a 5.5 out of 10.
