Dracula A Comedy of Terrors Review

Ever since this play came across my feed on Instagram, I knew I needed to see it. And I was lucky enough to get tickets for this past weekend to see one of its final runs. The reels did not disappoint! This play was hilarious, the rest of the audience and I were laughing up a storm. Besides the wonderful Dracula(who was of course my favorite part), I really enjoyed how the show handled having some actors play multiple characters. The fact that not only were there a couple of extremely impressive quick changes but that they acknowledged and played on the fact that the audience knows they are the same actor. Another thing I was surprisingly impressed with was the set, I feel like it was the perfect combination of simple yet complex.

The last thing I want to mention that I absolutely loved is a spoiler, so sorry for those who weren’t lucky enough to see it. But as a die-hard Dracula fan, I am so happy that he wasn’t dead at the end! I know he’s the “bad” guy, but I just love him, so I didn’t want him to die. I, of course, have to give this show 10 out of 10 and I really hope it’s able to come back.
