I am shocked to say this, but I actually enjoyed the new Mean Girls. As someone who really had no opinions either way on the original, I was expecting this one to be the same. Of course, I thought there were funny and memorable lines from the first one, but it was one of those movies I would never suggest watching. So, I was surprised when I realized while watching that I was actually enjoying myself. I definitely think the reason I liked this one was because it got a boost from my musical-loving side. I really liked a lot of the songs, especially Reginas.

On a side note, one thing that this movie did make me wonder about is how this worked on a stage. I’m very curious now to see how they make changes to the scenery, especially moving around in the school. But back to the actual movie, I would have to give this movie a 7.5 out of 10.
