I loved every single second of this show!! It’s pretty easy to find a show I like watching, but it’s rarer to find one that I can absolutely not wait to watch every episode. I watched all ten episodes as fast as I could, and now I’m sad because I don’t have any more. Everything about this show was great from the title sequence and song, the flawless fight choreography, and even Diego’s swoon-worthy Zorro outfit. Seriously, one of my favorite parts was his outfit! I wasn’t a huge fan of the beginning outfit, but I was willing to deal with it, that is, until he switched it up and I was awed. Oh man, it looks soooooo cool. It always feels a little silly when something as simple as an outfit can make a show even better. But hey, I guess I’m a girl of simple pleasures.
But on a more serious note, this show had one of my favorite parts of a vigilante story. That part being after getting into the hero business for maybe not the right reasons they then realize what type of person they truly want to be. It makes my heart so happy.
If I was forced to say something bad about this show I would guess I would say that I wished there were more subtitles for some of the conversations that Mei, Diego, and Bernardo had. Because there were some moments where I felt a little lost. But even that part I ended up liking because it makes the viewer also experience the confusion the characters have trying to talk to someone in a different language.
So, as you might have guessed I’m giving this show a 10 out of 10 and I really hope that it gets a second season!
