Oh man, I loved this book so much I don’t even know where to start! I guess I’ll start with the simple stuff. This book was peak enemies to lovers, villain redemption, and shadow daddy representation! Not to mention great character design, there’s only one thing I love more than a black haired mmc, and that’s a white haired mmc! But what I love the most about this book is that it had me constantly tearing up. Nothing gets to me more than emotional trauma; forget torture, having a character believe they are not worthy of love or redemption gets me bawling! Not much can beat the redemption and freedom through love trope.

Now, the only “bad” thing I have to say about this book is that once or twice the writing kind of confused me. There were a few moments where I got confused if something was happening in the real world or the Dream Realm. I can understand why it was written like it was to maybe add that confusion, but at the same time, I wouldn’t mind a straightforward explanation so I’m not mixed up. But all of this combined makes me want to give this book a 9.9 out of 10. And I need the second one ASAP!!
