Dune 2 is one of those movies that have me confused about what my opinion is of it. With its plot alone, I flip-flop between wanting Paul to embrace being the Messiah and then immediately being like, “No, don’t do it, it’s just the Bene Gesserit’s BS to control everything!”. So, because of this, I also have no idea if I like where the story is going, and I am really hoping it turns out all right(even though I am 90% sure it does not). But one thing that I do know is that this movie is a visually stunning experience for the eyes(as cliché as it is to say that). I know that doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone, especially after number 1, but it is an amazing movie to watch. Everything from the costumes to the special effects and, of course, the CGI is exceptional. Because of this I’m going to give the movie an 8 out of 10.
