Nerd Thoughts

It comes as no surprise to anyone who’s read my previous Throne of Glass book reviews but Chaol is my favorite character, so it’s not shocking that Tower of Dawn is my new favorite! But Chaol being front and center is only one part of why I loved this book. Of all the different scenarios that a book could have nothing makes me cry more than when a character is dealing with depression/suicidal thoughts/panic attacks etc. all rolled into one. Forget physical torture I welcome that(it builds character) but when a character’s own mind is what’s messing with them I can’t stand that. So, having an entire book dedicated to my favorite character dealing with his mental health while dealing with his physical health while finding true love is literally the best. I loved every second of this book and honestly can’t understand how people still dislike my boy after it, but anyway I obviously am giving this book a 10 out of 10.
