This might be a bit late, but I just wanted to give my two cents before part 2 comes out. So, first off I love every second of Bridgerton no matter what. I watch hundreds of shows where it’s all life or death, supernatural shenanigans, or crime-solving so it’s great to have one show about high-society romance. But despite my love of the show, I do agree with what a lot of people are saying about season 3 part 1, the focus was definitely split too much. It should have focused more on Polin and less on Francesca and the Mondrichs, I can semi-understand spotlighting Francesca, but I am very confused about the focus on the Mondrichs. It’s not that they’re bad characters(I quite enjoy throwing them into society), it’s just the fact that I’ve heard that they’re not characters in the books so I wonder why the decision was made to make them more prevalent. Because of this multi-split in focus, I would give this half a 7 out of 10 and I hope the second half is more focused on Polin.
