Dimension 20: The Unsleeping City

Three campaigns down! And sooooooo many more to go. This was another great campaign and I can’t get enough of Brennan and the party. After finishing it I had 2 main thoughts. First, it was really fun having the setting be in NYC, I’m not an expert by any means but I’ve been to New York City enough times that it was exciting when I knew a place enough to picture it.

My other thought doesn’t actually have to deal with the story. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I noticed that the cast’s characters are very similar to their characters in Fantasy High. Sure they’re very different, but I feel like they share the same vibes as their previous characters. Now, I want to make it very clear that I like this and it is by no means a bad thing. One of the things that has kept me from finding my own DnD group is the knowledge that I would most likely be the type of person who no matter how hard I try would always end up creating different versions of the same rogue. So the fact that what I would call “professional DnD players”(I know they’re more than that but in this case, I’m saying that’s what they are) have their comfort character type has given me some comfort for when I hopefully one day find a group to play with.
