Dimension 20: Escape From The Bloodkeep

Finished watching another campaign so I wanted to share some thoughts I had. I do have to admit that just before I started Escape from the Bloodkeep I was kind of nervous. I was nervous because this felt like the DnD version of me trying new food, I had found a group of players I liked so I was afraid I might not like this new group. But I was glad I tried it because it was a super fun group to watch. I was also worried when I learned that they were playing villains because I was afraid it would be one of those moments where the bad guys became good guys to defeat the even worse guy. Which is overdone, so I was excited that they stayed villains the whole time! So, after my initial hesitation, I once again had a great time watching this campaign.

Dimension 20: Fantasy High

For a long time, I’ve seen dozens of clips of various campaigns from Dimension 20 on Instagram. After every clip I tell myself to just go ahead and subscribe to Dropout, but every time I chicken out. That is until last week when I finally hit the fuck it button and finally subscribed. There are times when you hit that fuck it button and it’s a huge mistake but not this time, this time it was one of the best decisions I’ve made! I’ve only watched the first season of Fantasy High so far, but I love it so much! I knew I would enjoy watching the campaigns, but it’s so much better watching every second, not just out-of-context clips.

After finishing the first Fantasy High, I was a little worried that since I loved it so much there was a chance I wouldn’t find the less modern-themed ones as fun. But since starting Escape From The Bloodkeep I realized that I’ll probably love every campaign. No guarantees, but I’m going to enjoy every second of my subscription to Dropout.
