Are you looking for an enemies-to-lovers fantasy comedy all set against the backdrop of an alternate-reality historical drama? Then I got a show for you! I am obsessed with My Lady Jane!!!!!! I need more right this second. I have absolutely zero criticism about this show, everything was perfect. Guildford and Jane are my new favorite couple of all time. Who doesn’t love a strong intelligent independent woman and her dark broody and supportive husband? No one that’s who. Every character is perfect in their own way. Stan is perfectly stupid and I love him, Margaret is perfectly psychotic, and Seymour and Mary are perfectly horrible with no good qualities(which are some of the best villains). When you put them all together you get the best story ever.
In all seriousness, I am waiting with bated breath for a renewal. Sure, the ending was one of those perfect endings where everything was happy and wrapped up so if it was canceled I would survive. But it was also one of those endings that gave you just enough of a cliffhanger/new info to want more… and man do I want more! So, obviously, I’m giving this show a 10 out of 10.
