Nerd Thoughts

With the first book, I really liked it but I wasn’t obsessed. Now with the second, I’m definitely getting closer to being a big fan but still not quite there. I’m still really liking the whole world as a whole, and I’m even more interested in seeing where the story goes. I was also a big fan of how this one handled Isla regaining her memories. Unfortunately though, as someone who hardcore prefers dark-haired/shadow-daddies, I can’t be truly happy until Grim is the only one Isla has love for. Down with Oro!!!! I am so hoping that in the next book, we see his shitty side come out by him not excepting Isla’s Nightshade side. I’m hoping it’s going to be one of those moments where the “good guy” makes the MC feel horrible for not being a perfect person who’s made zero mistakes and then the “bad guy” swoops in and accepts the MC for who they are. But anyway, I would give Nightbane an 8 out of 10 and I’m very interested in where it’s going.
