No visit to NYC is complete without a Broadway show, so & Juliet was the lucky pick this time. This was one of those shows that, while I liked it overall, it definitely isn’t in my top favorites. While I liked how they made the music fit the story, I’m just not that big of a fan of the jukebox music. I love listening to musical soundtracks on Spotify, but when that soundtrack is just covers of normal music that plays on the radio, I don’t feel like it’s worth adding to my playlist. That being said, I absolutely loved the costuming. There’s nothing I love more than “period” pieces that blend old and modern fashion; it looks so awesome! I also have to give props to the set; I really liked the graffiti artist’s style. Overall, I would give & Juliet a 6.5 out of 10.
