2024 Haunted “Houses” Review

This year’s Halloween activities were Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens and a local haunted house called Milltown Haunt.

Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream

Years ago, my friends and I decided to try out Busch Gardens’ Halloween stuff, and besides the shows, we were really disappointed. But this year, we decided to give it another try. I don’t know if it was because it was their 25th anniversary or if it’s just been so long, but it was way better this time around. The scare zones actually had more than one scare actor in it, so it was already a million times better. While I thought, as a whole, it was better, I was a little disappointed in the show at the Festhaus. I liked the vampire show that I saw years ago better. But all around, I would give Howl-O-Scream an 8 out of 10.

Milltown Haunt

This is the haunt my friend works at that I’ve been going to for the past few years, and it’s the best one yet! I would honestly say it was one of my all-time favorite haunted houses. And that’s also including all the different parks I’ve been to. My favorite parts of haunted houses are the parts that genuinely surprise you, and this one had a lot! I also loved all the fancy technical parts. I can’t wait to go again next year, and I’m, of course, giving it a 10 out of 10.
