Nerd Thoughts

As any reader knows, books can be very stressful. Caraval, though, had a very specific type of stress. I was constantly stressed reading Caraval because I had no idea what was real or not!!! I can deal with life or death, but what I can’t deal with is not knowing what is reality! One thing I really love to do while reading is trying to predict what’s going to happen and coming up with theories. That, unfortunately, is next to impossible to do when you can’t trust a single thing you’re reading. That said, I had a lot of fun reading this book. I really like the Venetian carnival vibe, and I am very interested to learn more about all the characters. With all the ups and downs in mind, I would give this book an 8 out of 10.
