One good thing about reviewing a monster romance book is that you can keep it short and sweet. But really, I’m going to keep this brief since I don’t want to spoil anything. Firstly, I really appreciated the bit of world-building that was done and the simple plot. Some Smut books don’t even bother with any type of plot, and I can’t stand that, so I really like that there was something going on in the book’s world besides just the MCs getting it on. That being said, I also appreciate that it wasn’t super complex and always quickly went back to the good stuff, if you know what I mean *wink wink*. On that note, the spice… was spicein! Everything you could want in a werewolf romance is provided in The Wolf. It was like walking into a werewolf smut candy store!
The only thing that disappointed me in this book was learning at the end that this was the last book from Alex and Julia’s POV! I’m going to miss them. Anyway, I will give The Wolf a 9 out of 10.
