Nerd Thoughts

I feel conflicted about Sonic. On the one hand, it looks good and is pretty funny at times, but on the other hand, the movie kept losing my attention. It’s one of those movies that, for all intents and purposes, Sonic is a great kids movie, but I’m not positive it’s a great movie overall. One of the ways I determine if a movie is great or not is if it can draw me into the world and make me forget about the real world for an hour or so. Sadly for Sonic 3, though, I caught myself constantly wondering what time it was, looking around, and generally not captivated by the movie. This led me to decide that Sonic 3 was just a good movie, not a great one, so I will give it a 7 out of 10.
