Magic, Academies & Vampires (The Vampire Vincent Book 2) Review

When I saw that the second The Vampire Vincent book came out, I got really excited. I had so much fun reading the first one, and I knew I was going to enjoy this one too. Just like the previous book, I am shocked that not once was I annoyed/bored by “the summoned to a magic world” trope and all its fixings. The fact that there are references to the “real” world makes everything that much more funny. The one thing I’m not sure about is the long lectures on magic. I literally kept flip-flopping between appreciating the magical education and saying, “Okay, I don’t need to know every detail. Let us get back to the plot.” Sadly, that issue slightly ruined the flow of the book. With that in mind, I would have to rate this book a 7.5 out of 10.

P.S. I really hope there’s going to be a third, and I really, really hope the mom/wife finally gets to reunite with Vincent!
