This is one of those sequels that I loved but sadly didn’t have as much of an impact as the first book. That being said, I still had fun reading the book and can’t get enough of the world, and I can’t wait to see where the series is going. While this one didn’t have as much of a lasting effect on me, I really only had one real issue with the book. My problem was that I wish there were more detailed descriptions of how dragons were doing anything. There were moments where certain things were described like a normal person was doing it, and I kept wondering how these dragons were even able to do these things. Like, did they have thumbs to even pick up a chalice? Besides that, I had no other issues, so I’m going to give Dragon Meridians a 7 out of 10.
