Nerd Thoughts

I love vampires. I love romantasy. I love badass characters that are great with swords. I love dudes with wings. When you put all of those together, you of course get an amazing book. This is also one of those books that I, weirdly enough, don’t have much to say except it made me laugh and cry, which is a mark of an excellent book. The only negative I would possibly have to say is that I’m not a big fan of the “the one I love lied to me and now I hate them and we’re enemies(even though I know that’s not true but I’m going to lie to myself and say that it is)” trope. All I can hope is that it doesn’t take too long in the sequel for the wrinkles in their relationship to get ironed out. Now, despite that one hiccup at the end I will give this book a 9 out of 10.
