I absolutely can not get enough of the male POV in romantasy books. So, when I learned there was an entire book with just Carden’s POV, I was super excited! I loved seeing his love for Jude start to blossom, but even more, I loved the sadness. Yup, as every reader knows, there’s not much better than an MMC with a tragic backstory. The writing in this book was great because no matter what Carden was doing, you could feel the trauma and his underlying desire to be loved. I knew going in that I was going to cry, so I was, of course, not surprised when I did. This book just made the Folk of the Air series even better, and it gets a 10 out of 10!
