Dammit Suzanne you did it again! While plenty of books have made me cry recently, it’s been a long time since a book has made me bawl so much that I couldn’t read the words on the page. I, like everyone else, knew it was going to be bad(emotionally, of course), but oh boy, I was not expecting that ending. On a lighter note, I am a huge sucker for “cameos” and Easter eggs so I absolutely adored everytime someone or something popped up from the original trilogy. I got even more excited when something alluded to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes; it felt like one of those moments where you feel special because you know a secret that others don’t. I just plain loved every second of this book and give it a 10 out of 10.
P.S. I can’t wait to see this on screen!!!
