Dark romances, let alone dark stalker romances, aren’t necessarily my go-to genre, but I came across a soundbite of the audiobook for Lights Out, and I had to listen to it. Oh man, was that the best decision ever? Yes, yes, it was! I feel weird saying it but Lights Out was so fucking funny and cute!!!!! I absolutely loved this book. I was laughing and kicking my feet(metaphorically, of course, since I was driving while listening to it) the entire time. The only semi-negative thing I have to say about Lights Out is that I am torn on whether or not I like the inclusion of the murder. While it kind of ruins the cutesy mood, it does bring in a more serious mood that I also really like. So, everything considered, I would give the book a 9.5 out of 10.
