Nerd Thoughts

First things first, I loved these audiobooks! The Irish accents are to die for! That being said, I didn’t quite love Leather & Lark as much as Butcher & Blackbird. I, of course, still love this one, but I had one big issue. The reason I loved Butcher & Blackbird so much was that it was lighter (which sounds weird since… you know… the murder), basically it was just about their relationship. While I enjoyed the drama from the “who’s coming after your family” plot, it made it too serious and took away the whimsy I felt in the first book. But despite that, I still loved this book, so I’m going to give it an 8 out of 10.
