Nerd Thoughts

I know this is pretty late, but I still wanted to review it anyway. First, I want to say that I’ve never played any of the DMC games before (though they are on my Steam wishlist), and it’s been forever since I’ve watched the old anime. Now, with that out of the way, I will start by saying I loved the show. I loved the actual animation style, loved the fight scenes, absolutely adored Dante’s design, but most of all, I loved how the whole show, especially by the end, had an origin story vibe. At the beginning, I thought we were jumping straight into Dante’s life, but I got very excited when it turned out to be more origin story vibes (I can’t get enough of an origin story). I know a bunch of people on the internet will vehemently disagree with me, but I loved this show and am super happy it’s already getting a second season, so I obviously give it a 10 out of 10.
