Where I loved the previous book so much because I was able to predict how things would happen, I loved this one for the opposite reason. Sure, there were things I was able to predict, but I really appreciated being surprised in this book. Especially with that ending! Like WTF!!!! But anyway, I love how this series is progressing, both lore-building and romance-wise. Literally, my only negative thing about this book is specifically for the audiobook. It’s really not that big of a deal, but I still find it annoying that male and female narrators are still doing the fake opposite gender voices during their respective POV’s. I just don’t get why, if you have both narrators, you would not just have the guy do all the guy voices and the girl do all the girl voices. Despite that, or because of that (not quite sure which), I’m giving this book a 9 out of 10.
