Nerd Thoughts

With this book completed, I have now completed all of the Maasverse!! I can now officially state that Crescent City is my second favorite Maas series. After enjoying all of Maas’s books (to varying degrees), it will come as no surprise that I loved House of Flame and Shadow. This is another review where all that really needs to be said is that not much beats a book where questions are answered and happy endings are in abundance. Plus, there were some tears shed at the end, which makes it all the better. The only thing that I was a tad sad about was that the boys weren’t tortured in the dungeon for longer. I know I shouldn’t wish more trauma on the characters, but come on, we all know all the best characters have an overabundance of trauma, and I feel like five days is not enough. I was at least hoping for a month. But we can’t have everything we want, so I guess I’ll accept five days.  Now, with everything in mind, I will give this book a 9 out of 10.
