I’m going to jump right in, I LOVED THIS SHOW! For those who don’t know Noughts + Crosses is a BBC show that is a Romeo and Juliet star crossed lovers story that takes place in an alternate reality where Aprica aka Africa conquered Europe. It’s set in London, Albion aka England and focuses on the relationship between Callum a Nought(white low class) and Sephy a Cross(black upper class) in a society where interracial couples are illegal.
First, the premise of the show is extremely interesting to watch, seeing a London based on African culture was cool to see. Same as seeing a society basically flipped on its head. But all of this pales to the joy I experienced watching the relationship between Callum and Sephy! I mostly watch supernatural or action shows so when I absolutely love something that’s neither one of those you know it’s good.
This show made me go through so many feels watching all the struggles these 2 lovers had to go through just for them to be happy together. All in all I give this show a 10 out of 10 because I loved it so much and really really really hope that’s there’s going to be a second season. So, if you want to watch you can find it on Peacock.
