BattleBots S06 E02: Predictions

I can’t wait for tonights episode so I wanted to share my predictions for this weeks episode and see if after years of watching BattlesBots if I can be an amateur Botwhisperer.

Yeti vs. Madcatter

I think this one will be Yeti all the way. I think it’s spinner has a better chance of hitting Madcatter then Madcatters weapon hitting Yeti.

Defender vs. Ribbot

I think this one will be Ribbot unless Defender gets in a lucky grab because I’ve noticed that a simple horizontal/vertical spinner usually are able to do more damage then a lifter.

Hijinx vs. Mammoth

I’m not sure about this one but I actually think this one might go to Mammoth. Sure Hijinx has a more destructive weapon but there is a lot of area for Mammoth to get under Hijinx and fling them around. But lets see.

Kraken vs. Rotator

This is one of those fights that I want it to go one way but prepare myself for it to go the other way. I want Kraken to win and think they have a strong chance, especially if they get a good bite from behind but I also wouldn’t be surprised if Rotator got in some good hits.

Rusty vs. Blip

I originally wanted to say this would go to Rusty since he’s a returning bot but the more I think about it I think Blip will win. Mostly because I don’t think Blips slanted design will allow Rusty to get in a good hit.

Tantrum vs. Malice

This one seems like it’d go to Tantrum. A bot’s at an automatic disadvantage when it has exposed wheels versus a bot with protected wheels.

Bloodsport vs. Whiplash

Whiplash is one of my fav bots so I have to go with them. Plus I think they have a really good chance at flipping Bloodsport and then getting at they’re underside.

Subzero vs. Shatter

Shatter is another one of my favorites so once again I have to go for them. Plus we know from Shatter basically whipping themself around that they can take some rattling so hopefully they can withstand Subzero

Now, honestly all of these predictions don’t really mean anything because as any fan of BattleBots knows is that one lucky hit can change everything. So, let’s just wait and see!
