I was very intrigued when I saw ads for this show so I had high expectations. But sadly I would say the show was average. In all the promotions they made it seem like it was going to be extremely sexy but for fucks sake they were broken up for half the show. It had practically the same amount of sexy time as every other crime drama I watch so I kept thinking “false advertising” to myself. Another big issue I had was that for a good chunk of the show, Emma annoyed me so much with her naivety and black-and-white view of the world. I just wanted to shake her and be like “Girl do you not know the reputation of the CIA?!?!?”. She acted so superior just because he was a criminal and she was an agent even though her agency has done worse then him!
Though I will admit the last couple of episodes made it a lot better in my eyes and even got me to look forward to a second season a bit. I just wish Emma lost her rose-colored CIA glasses sooner than she did. But at least she did by the end which I think will make a second season way better if it gets renewed. So, I would ultimately give this show a 6 out of 10 with the hope it gets better.
