Nerd Thoughts

For some background I never Google anything about the Youtubers I watch, any personal information about themselves that I know I learned from their videos or social media. Basically I let the info come to me naturally from themselves. For even more background of the 8 Youtubers that I actively watch, 2 of them are partially known for not showing their face(SovietWomble and The Dooo). Because of this I, like many viewers, are just waiting around for a dramatic face reveal. So you might be able to imagine my utter shock when Womble just fucking slipped a face reveal at the end of his newest video!

Imagine this scenario. Your favorite Youtuber hasn’t posted a video in half a year(basically). You haven’t been able to watch any live streams since his stream time doesn’t match your work schedule. So you start to think maybe he stopped making videos and only does streaming now and you don’t know because you haven’t watched a stream. Then BAMM out of no where he posts a 3 hour long video essay right before you go on vacation so you unfortunately don’t have time to watch. Then finally you have time to watch it but get interrupted half way through so you can’t finish it. Finally a few days later you get time to finish the video and you just thinking “nice video, worth the waaaaaaaaait WHAT THE FUCK. THIS CAN’T BE REAL! Nah this has to be fake.”

So, that’s where I am right now. I’m just waiting for the other shoe to drop and for Womble to say “Hah tricked you guys that wasn’t really me that was my friend/brother/whatever”. But if that doesn’t happen and that was indeed the real SovietWombles face then I just have to say DAMN! That was a good ass way to do a face reveal. I was literally wide eyed gasping in shock. I will definitely remember that moment for a loooong time.
