Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant Review

Guy Ritchie is one of the only directors that I would consider watching one of his movies no matter what it’s about. So, I knew eventually I would get around to watching The Covenant. And while I did enjoy it and think it’s a great movie, it seemed to be the least Guy Ritchie Guy Ritchie movie I’ve seen so far. It lacked those classic slow-mo and close-up action scenes that are usually prevalent throughout his movies. That lack didn’t make the movie worse, but I did miss those types of scenes.

Even without the missing Guy Ritchie flare, this movie was great in other ways. Both the story and the acting were top-notch. Which combined to make it a solid military movie that I would give a 7 out of 10.
