Nerd Thoughts

I realized recently that besides fantasy/superhero action, my favorite type of action movies are the over-the-top ridiculously gratuitous fight scenes action movies. You know, the ones that have you gasping and laughing at the same time at a character’s death. And The Beekeeper is exactly that type of movie. Sure, it’s not the most realistic, but that’s what makes it fun; I think it’s easier to enjoy revenge/vengeance movies like this when it’s like that. It was super fun to watch, plus I was actually mildly surprised by the ending, which is rare for a movie like this. If you need anymore reason to see this movie my sister was cracking up the whole time, which is a good sign if I do say so myself.

Sure, this movie is not for anyone, but I think if you like movies like Bullet Train or The Kingsmen you’d like this movie. So, I would give this movie an 8 out of 10.
