Crown of Midnight(Throne of Glass) Review

Where I enjoyed the previous Throne of Glass books I’ve read, this one is the one that truly got its hooks in me. Crown of Midnight was a roller coaster of emotions. This is one of those books that frustrated me so much that I loved every second of it. I had to remind myself that if a book can affect me this much that means it’s great.

One amusing thing that was solidified after reading this is that Celaena might not be the sharpest tool in the shed. There’s something so entertaining when you can shake your head at the main character in semi-disappointment. You love all bits of them even when they’re being stupid and can’t solve a pretty simple riddle. And while I was having fun laughing at Celaena’s obliviousness I was also getting sad at the knowledge that a relationship I enjoyed was coming to an end. Despite my annoyance at the destruction of what could have been a great relationship I still really liked this book so I’m going to give it an 8 out of 10.
