Heir of Fire(Throne of Glass) Review

This book was classic in two main ways. The first is that it was the classic intervention book in a series. You know that book where the main character is depressed and needs tough love and a shoulder to cry on to get them to accept their destiny? Yeah, this was that type of book. So, it was frustrating until Celaena/Aelin(not sure which name to use yet) finally started training for real. It was also a classic SJM book, as in things went fucking wild in the last 100-150 pages. Man, I was pretty okay with the book as a whole but when things started to go crazy that’s where I truly started to freak out.

Now, I do have to say that while I have been enjoying TOG I still like ACOTAR way better. I think the only reason I’m not head over heels about this book is that I’m having a really hard time moving on from Chaol! I got super attached right away and the relationship didn’t end in a bad enough way for me to just throw Chaol away. But that being said, I think the series is finally getting to the point where I’m going to start to get really really into it. So, I’m going to give Heir of Fire an 8 out of 10.
