Nerd Thoughts

This review might be way late, but I still want to share my thoughts. My main thought I had after watching was I don’t know why it did so bad in theaters. Sure, it is by no means going to be the new go-to Christmas movie, but if I’m honest, there wasn’t really anything wrong with it. I actually really liked the fusion of high-tech and magic, and I also loved the inclusion of other folklore. Despite liking the world the movie created, the movie just didn’t make a big impact. It’s definitely one of those movies you watch, and then just say to yourself, “Yup, that’s a movie I just watched.” You’re not left thinking about it after, and there’s not much of a desire to discuss it. That being said, I can’t really pinpoint anything bad in it, so I’m still going to give it a 6 out of 10.
