I feel conflicted on House of Gucci, like the story was very entertaining and intriguing (if it’s accurate), but there was just too many problems that kept adding up for it to be a great movie. Before I get to the bad part I do want to say that I loved the casting and acting. I thought that all the actors and actresses did a very good job. The biggest problem was that it was long, and by long I mean really really long. For an action or even comedy movie the length wouldn’t have been a problem because you’d be engaged the whole time but in a biopic that allows for the viewers attention to wander a lot. Which led me to wonder multiple times “how long till this is over?” which is never a good sign. I also had a big problem with how they kept skipping ahead in time with very little explanation that it was further in the story. It would have been much better if they just put up more dates through out the movie so I would know for a fact that time progressed. Besides for these two problems it was a relatively okay movie, so I would give it a solid 5 out of 10. Basically it was good to watch one time but I definitely wouldn’t go see it again.
