The live-action How to Train Your Dragon was fucking fantastic!!!!!!!!! I am so happy! It was perfection! Everything in this movie was a perfect live-action version of things, meaning that while it was slightly different, it still had the right vibe from the animation. The dragons, sets, and costumes were amazing, literally no complaints in that area. The only thing I can even think someone could complain about is that they didn’t have the Terrible Terror scene to explain the burning on the inside bit, but hey, I can forgive that. This movie makes me so happy and optimistic because we finally have a live-action adaptation that is practically 99.999999% accurate to the animation, and I can only hope that future live-actions will learn from this (because let’s be realistic, they aren’t going to stop doing live-actions and while I’m not a live-action hater I still go bonkers for a source accurate adaptation). I know people out there will still complain, but I loved every second of this movie, and I, of course, give it a 10 out of 10.

P.S. I really hope that the inclusion of Hiccups’ scar means they’re already thinking of making the rest!!!
